API 780 SRA Simulator

API 780 SRA Simulator

The site visit, simulated.

You can't walk a class through a live refinery. Now you don't have to. Every trainee performs a complete security risk assessment on a realistic fictional facility, guided step by step, graded automatically, and certified under your brand.

Trainees join free with their instructor's class code.

Interactive site map with rings of protection around a selected asset

Built on the five activities of the API 780 methodology

The guided workflow walks every trainee through the full assessment sequence. No step can be skipped, no shortcut taken.

  1. Asset characterization What are we protecting, and how critical is it?
  2. Threat analysis Adversaries rated by intent and capability.
  3. Vulnerability assessment Exposure and attractiveness against existing layers.
  4. Risk assessment Likelihood × consequence on the standard's chain.
  5. Countermeasures analysis Recommendations → residual and optimized residual risk.

For trainees

A real assessment, not a slideshow

Trainees explore the facility on an interactive site map, rate criticality, build credible threat scenarios, and watch their risk picture take shape on a live dashboard: initial versus residual risk, scenario by scenario.

At the end they export the professional PDF report they authored: a portfolio piece, not just a certificate.

For instructors

See who understands, while you can still act

Every rating is auto-graded against your reference answers within tolerance. The class dashboard shows completion, score distribution, and must-find coverage live, so you spot the struggling trainee on day two, not after the exam.

Timed exams, verifiable certificates, white-label branding, and a quality check that scores your course before trainees ever see it.

Everything a course delivery needs

Fictional case studies

Coastal Horizon Refinery, Palm Junction Fuel Terminal and, on the second edition, Amber Ridge Gas Plant ship built-in, or author your own facility and import its asset register from CSV.

Auto-graded scorecards

Reference answers with tolerances turn subjective-feeling judgments into objective scores, with individual feedback pages per trainee.

Exams & verified certificates

Per-facility question banks with pass marks. Certificates carry a public verification link any employer can check.

Your brand throughout

Upload a logo and brand color once, and the interface, reports, and certificates all re-theme to your organization.

Private classes

Trainees enroll with your join code. Your cohorts, results, and scenarios stay isolated from every other instructor.

Nothing to install

Runs in any modern browser: hotel classroom, client site, or online delivery, with no IT rollout to negotiate.

Simple pricing for instructors

Trainees always join free with a class code. Annual billing gets two months free. Prices in USD, excluding VAT.
